Channel 49/KNXT
Television is unmatched in its power to reach and influence
vast numbers of people. A medium with such power is
clearly an obvious choice for communicating faith and
values. KNXT Channel 49 promotes communication, disseminates
information and provides education that will give a
voice to different groups and build a community of mutual
respect and cooperation. The mission of KNXT is to affirm
and explore the best in human and spiritual values through
family programming and alternative entertainment.
KNXT is a Diocesan television station that dedicates
a significant portion of locally produced community
and public affairs programming to nurturing civic participation
and the full inclusion of immigrants and other marginalized
people into the political, social, and economic life
in the valley.
Services/Programs
Two live one hour interactive call in programs that
answer callers’ pertinent questions, give callers
contacts for further information and offer hard copies
of pertinent information.
